A: When your present hosting provider can no longer satisfy the demands of your site, or if you face constant downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the client care staff to reply back to you, it might be a good idea to change your provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your web sites as well as your databases from your current provider to your new provider. At 4K Solutions Inc., we know that this can be difficult and time–consuming. This is the reason why we will perform all that for you at no cost!Our capable technical staff reps will migrate your web site content from your present hosting provider to us. Our technicians have got plenty of experience with website migration and are able to take care of everything – from a normal WordPress–powered weblog or Joomla^™ CMS–powered website, to a highly elaborate, custom–built web app.

A: While we cannot give you a precise ETA, since there are plenty of factors, among them the physical size of the files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll try our very best to move your website within 48h, and in certain cases – within 24h (when the content is not very large).

A: Yep. We will require the name of the site that you’d like us to transfer. We’ll also require a means to log into your current hosting account so that we can get the content pertaining to your web site.

A: Client privacy is one of our greatest priorities – that’s why, both our payment page and our Control Panel login page are protected with enterprise–grade SSL certificates. We use security measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, digital and administrative procedures to secure the info that we collect online. And we have a detailed and rigid Privacy Policy, which describes the types of information that we gather.

A: No. Your site will remain completely operational during the transfer. As soon as everything is completed on our end, we’ll let you know so that you can preview it and check for any problems. If everything’s okay, all you will need to do is change your domain’s DNS records.

A: Nope. We will never touch base with your web hosting provider about anything. They will not be aware of the web site migration either.

A: We support all Linux–based web hosting platforms. Basically, if we can obtain access to your Control Panel, we will be able to migrate your website.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source web site building platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
