Extra Dedicated IPs
Find more info about dedicated IP addresses. Learn what makes them so essential. Find out how to allocate additional dedicated IPs to your server.
A dedicated IP address ensures that you will have a distinctive numeric identifier on the Internet and that it will not be shared with other people's sites or apps as it happens with a shared web hosting account. There are many uses for a dedicated IP - for instance, when an SSL certificate is needed if you have an online store and you need to accept online payments or in case you have a login form and you want the info which users submit to be encrypted. A dedicated IP address could also be used for other applications, like a VoIP server, for instance. Additionally, it will provide more credibility and protection to your sites, considering the fact that a network flood to a shared IP won't have any effect on your dedicated IP. If you host your sites with our company and you have your own server, you will be able to get one or a number of dedicated IP addresses with only a couple of mouse clicks and to use them in the event that you cannot use the IP that comes with the hosting server.
Extra Dedicated IPs in Dedicated Servers
Every dedicated server that we offer comes with 3 dedicated IP addresses supplied at no extra cost on top of the monthly fee for the plan. We also offer the opportunity to add more IPs to your server both when you sign up and at a later time through your billing Control Panel, so you can order the IPs whenever you require them without a limit on the amount or on how often you get them. They could be purchased in groups of three and will be assigned to your server immediately. You could renew them with the hosting plan and you can choose if you will renew all of them, or a smaller number - if you no longer require the rest. Each dedicated IP address allocated to your server can be used for any purpose: for a personal site, for a software web server, or for a hosting client - in case you have decided to launch your own Internet hosting firm and you're reselling accounts to other people.
